When it comes to skin care, I get way more excited about it than I do make up and over lockdown I feel like I’ve mastered a skincare routine that works for my skin. I *think* I have combination skin, I get a really oily t - zone and then the rest of my face is just normal. Anyways, I’ll show you what I use for my everyday skincare routine!

So the first thing I use is the Cerave Foaming Cleanser. I got the 473ml bottle as it was on offer from Look Fantastic and thought it would last me a long time and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been using it since about May and I don’t think I’m anywhere near the end of the bottle. I use it morning and night and love it! It doesn’t dry my skin out but leaves me feeling clean and like everything has been taken off my face. I can also notice when I don’t use it for a while because I’ve noticed that I start to get spots on my chin again, so it definitely keeps my hormonal spots at bay.

my everyday skincare routine ft Cerave, Carmex, Revolution, Superdrug and The Ordinary products.
Once I’ve washed my face I go in with my Carmex. I use Carmex religiously and when I run out I literally panic. I’ve always got one in my bag and in my room, it’s the only thing that hydrates my lips and keep them smooth. I then go in with the Superdrug Vitamin C Brightening Eye Gel on my under eyes. I’ve always heard so many good things about the vitamin c range so I thought I’d give the eye gel a go. I love the application of this because it’s a little metal roller ball so when you apply it to the under eyes it feels so refreshing and cooling. I’ve not noticed a huge difference yet but I’m eager to keep trying it.

I then go in with the  Revolution Blemish & Pore Refining Serum. I use this on my t - zone as that’s where I seem to have the worst pores. I have noticed that the pores on my nose a lot smaller than what they used to be which I love. The pores on my chin haven’t seemed to change that much but they’ve always been bad so I think I need some sort of miracle for them. It’s so light weight and soaks into my skin straight away. After that I use the Revolution Snow Mushroom Serum
To be honest, I bought this because the name intrigued me. I run out of my hyaluronic acid so was looking for another one when I came across this. Online it says it’s often compared to hyaluronic acid so that’s what sold me. I love it because it’s so light and almost like a water. It soaks in so quick and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Revolution skincare products.
I’ve only recently started using the Superdrug Vitamin C Facial Booster. It states that it brightens skin and softens the skin so I’m all about products that claim to do those. Once again, from the vitamin c range which I’ve heard a lot about. I’ve only recently started using it so I can’t vouch for it to be doing amazing things to my skin, but it does feel nice and it smells soo good. It’s a little thicker than the revolution serums it’s a bit more like a gel, but it still soaks in quick enough and I will continue to use it.

Revolution Glycolic & Aloe face spray, I love a face spray and anything that has glycolic in it. Glycolic claims to be a natural exfoliant which I love because it will get rid of the dead skin cells without having to use a horrible scrub on my face. I don’t use this everyday I just use it when I need a refresh and I love it.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BH2% Peeling Solution
The last thing in my skincare routine is the The Ordinary AHA 30% + BH2% Peeling Solution. Honestly the name of this confuses the hell out of me and I honestly couldn’t tell you what was exactly in this product but I love it. I only use it twice a week because that’s what they recommend using. I basically watched a YouTube video months ago of a girl reviewing this and she basically says that it soaks into your pores and cleans them and shrinks your pores at the same time making it harder for product / oils to get built up. Thus making your pores look smaller. When I first used it, it gives you a tingly almost stinging sensation but it’s not unbearable. I almost like it because I feel like it’s working. I also think it works at removing dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling smooth and fresh which I do have to agree with. I wouldn’t suggest it if you have sensitive skin just from the stinging sensation but if you have oily skin like me then you might really enjoy this like I do! Just make sure you’re wearing SPF if you’re using this product because it’s removing your dead skin cells making it easier for your skin to burn!

Thanks for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it. I’m obviously no dermatologist and I’ve probably made a mess of explaining this products however they work for me and maybe inspired you to try something new! Let me know if you use any of this products :-)
