my animal kingdom outfit!

So, we’ve had our Disney World holiday booked since 2019! Our original date was June 2020, obviously due to Covid this has been pushed back twice and this year is our 3rd time lucky! I originally bought this outfit back in 2020 thinking I’d be able to wear it when the trip got pushed back to 2021, obviously it’s still been sat in my wardrobe haha! With our trip looking more than likely that it’s going to be going ahead this june, I thought I’d show you my animal kingdom outfit!

I haven’t got down to the little details yet such as Disney ears, or backpack etc. My original backpack was the Mickey safari Loungefly backpack which was limited edition and the only ones I can find now are about $200+ which honestly just breaks my heart every time haha! So if anyone has any good Animal Kingdom appropriate backpacks / ears let me know!

So it’s not an ‘out there’ outfit but I think it fits so perfectly for the park! Both the t shirt and shorts are from Primark so they were super affordable. Annoyingly because I bought these about 2 years ago these sadly aren’t in the stores anymore however Primark are constantly bringing out new Disney t shirts and the summer shorts are slowly starting to make their way back into stores and they usually stock similar prints each year! 

These shorts were £4 so an absolute bargain! The print of these are stunning too and very fitting for Animal Kingdom too right? They’re super light as well which will be perfect for when I go in June as the heat will be scorching!

I can’t work out if the top or the shorts are my favourite part of the outfit haha! This t shirt though is so cute! I’m a sucker for a t shirt with a cool print on the back. I love that it’s not too ‘in your face’ as well. I got this a few sizes bigger too so it would be baggier, again to help keep me cooler in the heat! I think this was around £8 too so super cheap and definitely a lot cheaper than in Disney World!

I did have a pair of sunglasses that had a subtle cheetah print on the frame that I was going to pair with this outfit too but I accidentally snapped the arm off last summer soo I’m going to have to find a new pair this year haha! I’d also probably wear plain white converse or even my Dr Marten Blaire sandals with this outfit just to keep the footwear part of the outfit simple and let the shorts / t shirt be the main detail!
